The Balls System: Revolutionizing Fantasy Basketball Scoring – How Every Play Counts!
Welcome to the Balls System, the unique scoring framework that sets Full Court Kings apart from the rest. In traditional fantasy basketball, points are often awarded for basic stats like points, assists, and rebounds. But here at Full Court Kings, we believe that every action on the court should have its own impact. That’s why we created the Balls System, which assigns specific point values (or even subtractions) to a wide variety of player actions, bringing an extra layer of excitement and strategy to your fantasy experience!
In the Balls System, each player’s real-life performance is meticulously tracked, and points are awarded or deducted based on a range of actions during NBA games. Whether it's a three-pointer, a steal, or a block, you can rest assured that every move contributes to your fantasy team’s success.
How the Balls System Works:
Here’s a breakdown of some key actions and their corresponding points:
Points Scored:
+2 Points for every regular field goal
+3 Points for every 3-pointer
+1 Point for every free throw
Rebounds:
+1.5 Points for every rebound (both offensive and defensive)
Assists:
+2 Points for every assist
Steals & Blocks:
+3 Points for each steal or block – defense matters!
Turnovers:
-1 Point for each turnover (because ball security is crucial)
Personal Fouls:
-1 Point for each personal foul committed
Double-Double & Triple-Double Bonuses:
+5 Points for achieving a Double-Double (10+ points and 10+ rebounds, assists, or other categories)
+10 Points for achieving a Triple-Double (10+ points, 10+ rebounds, and 10+ assists)
Other Specific Actions:
+2 Points for each assist-to-turnover ratio greater than 2:1
-2 Points for each technical foul or flagrant foul
These point values make the game even more strategic! As a manager, you’ll need to be aware of your players’ tendencies—whether they’re high scorers, strong defenders, or assist maestros—and build a team that leverages every aspect of the game. By tracking and understanding these detailed actions, you’ll have a huge advantage when setting your lineups and making trades.
The Balls System brings depth to your team management, allowing you to optimize your roster in ways you might not expect from traditional fantasy systems. It’s all about adapting to each player’s unique strengths and minimizing weaknesses.
